Cobb PR takes its role within the community seriously. For the last two years we have supported the local Save the DGH Campaign, led by Liz Walke, to save the town’s maternity unit from closure.
We currently work with Cavendish School and our involvement has included supporting their Enterprise Week for students and the setting up of a Dragon’s Den style project.
We organised a three-day charity bike ride over the South Downs Way, involving a group of local businessmen, that raised thousands of pounds, including £5,000 for the purchase of a new sound system at Ocklynge Junior School.
We have supported Eastbourne United Football Club in various ways including promoting their annual charity match against Arsenal Veterans.
Below are some of the testimonials we have received from the community groups and charities we have worked with:
Cobb PR has been fantastic for the Save the DGH Campaign. It is an innovative company with ideas that were totally appropriate for our cause. Whether it was raising the profile or raising funds, the whole staff of Cobb PR pitched in and worked hard ….And had fun I think! They are an excellent company to use for PR.

Thank you very much for your tremendous help during our Mini Enterprise week. The students derived an incredible amount of satisfaction from the experience and as always your interviews are the driving force behind the week.

I wanted to write and thank you for supporting Tim Cobb in his efforts to raise £5,000 for a new audio visual set up in our school hall. Tim’s efforts so far have raised over half this sum and we are confident that, by the end of the school year, a new system will be installed.
Tim has done a wonderful fundraising job and we are confident that the remaining monies will be raised in the near future.

‘Thank you so much for the marvellous donation of £1,000 raised by your sponsored Cycle ride on the South Downs Way between Winchester and Eastbourne. What a great achievement not only to have done that but to have raised such a superb sum of money that you have all not only been able to donate the new audio visual system for Ocklynge School costing £5,000 but have also been able to support other charities including ourselves as well!
